J Schwanke’s Life in Bloom is a lifestyle television show centered around flowers broadcast on Public Television and Create TV stations all over the United States.

The show is hosted by fourth generation florist, J Schwanke (aaf, AIFD, PFCI). Some call J “The Flower Expert”- while others refer to him as the “Flower Guy”. Simply put, J loves flowers – and enjoys sharing his passion for flowers with everyone he meets!

J’s signature style of presentation empowers viewers to enjoy a lifestyle arranged around flowers, with simple techniques that ensure flower-arranging success. Viewers are encouraged to relax with flowers, enjoying their health and wellness benefits in the process. J's love of flowers informs crafting, cooking, and flower beverage segments, with guests (aka “flower friends”) and on-location visits to flower farms and flower destinations.

“I LOVE to visit flower farms and show viewers not only their wonder and beauty, but also the hard work and commitment involved in a successful flower farm,” says Schwanke. “Some of my most memorable and enjoyable times have been spending a day getting to know flower farmers.”

“Just as rewarding are the comments we receive from viewers on how flowers make a difference in their lives,” continued Schwanke. “Many viewers are new to the power of flowers, or had forgotten the effect of flowers over the years, and now, have renewed enthusiasm for flowers.”
